Application Fee: $25, by check, payable to Tripanick-Nansemond Indian Family
Research Assistance Fee: $45 per hour, by check, payable to Tripanick-Nansemond Indian Family
A chart is needed to document your lineage as far back as possible to the Bass family (or other descendants of the Nansemond Tribe).
Supporting documents are required for each generation, as available:
birth certificate
marriage certificate
supporting documents of the person and the parent who is connected to the line
wills, land records, etc. - anything that shows proof of lineage to Elizabeth of Nansemond
Please pay close Attention to the Directions Below
Click on the link below (Tripanick Nation Application ), then on the Highlighted "https://drive.google" link below in Blue to access the Application. Afterwards, download the Application and "SAVE" it to your PC, then reopen the "SAVED" version on your PC where it can then be filled out. After fully completing your Application, email it back with Payment to the email address below the Application Link.

In Addition to your Application being accepted and becoming a Tribal Member, we have a Private Facebook Group for Tribal members "ONLY". Titled "Tripanick Nansemond Family Indian Nation, Tribal Members". If you are active on Facebook and would like to be added to the Group pending your Acceptance, please provide your Facebook Account name/information along with your Application. In here, you will be kept informed of all the happenings within the Tribe.
Below are Acceptable Documents that need to accompany each Bass Ancestor on your Application of Membership throughout your research for documenting your Lineage of your Bass Ancestors , Land and Deed Records, Census Records, Probate Records, Wills, Marriage and Death Certificates or Notices there of, if Available, etc. Virtually any Document that links/ties you to your Bass Ancestors up to "Elizabeth of Nansemond".
